A Facebook conversation about ‘mansplaining’ got onto women in comics as creators/readers…and I decided to link to this Emily Carroll story (yes, I’ve linked to it before). It’s a webcomic she did on her blog, "His Face All Red". I love it to bits…and it sticks there in a corner of my brain, as I wander through the world. And I love the colour she did in it (she talks about some of her techniques elsewhere on the blog).
Anyway, after all the crankiness and an awful lot of snarking today (about many many things) I decided I wanted something beautiful, creative and inspiring in my brain:
